• Log Length: 25cm (9 ¾”) is our standard – Tolerance on lengths +/- 8%.
• Log Diameter: 7 -15cm (2¾– 6”) measured across widest point of log. Tolerance on diameter +/- 10%

• Brash Volume: Max 4% per crate (brash constitutes bark and smaller pieces)

Our XL crate, measuring 2 meters in height, is our tallest crate and offers great value for money. These crates are made of  kiln dried birch hardwoods. These logs adhere to the EU standard size, measuring 25cm in length and 7-15cm in width at the widest edge. They are excellent for use in all wood burning appliances. The hardwood logs are prepared to the highest standards, with an average moisture content of 8-16%. They are Woodsure and Hetas accredited.
